Upcoming dates and nomination deadlines to remember.  Put these dates on your calendar:

March/April 2025:

• A total of 10 hitting days and 5 optional practice days in March and April
• Continued Pitchers and Catchers practices

May 2025:

• 5th - First day of practice 
• Scrimmages - can have 3 scrimmages after first practice
• 19th - First day for game competition

June 2025:

• 12th - Academic All State nomination forms are due
• 15th - All-Star Series Senior Nomination forms are due
• 22nd - Prospect Showcase Registration forms are due at noon

July 2025:

• TBA - Class 1A and 2A All-District Meetings
• TBA - Class 3A and 4A All-District Meetings
• TBA - State Tournament at Carroll (1A/2A) // Sioux City (3A/4A)
• 26th - Prospect Showcase at Southeast Polk

August 2025:

• July 31 - August 2 - All Star Series at Simpson College

September - December 2025:

• Renew your 2025-26 IHSBCA Memberships
• Baseball Advisory Meeting in Boone
• No Player/Coach Throwing contact from October 1 through December 31
• Board Meeting 
• December - Online voting for Coaches of the Year, Assistant Coaches of the Year, Umpires of the Year, and Fields of the Year.

January 2026:

• 58th annual IHSBCA Clinic and Hall of Fame Banquet - January 23-24rd at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines.
• Pitchers and Catchers practice can begin

February 2026

• Continued Pitchers and Catchers practices
